Susan has been the office manager at Downtown Integrative Health Group since 1995 and is married to the clinic director, David Lawson. Susan and David met after she worked in the clinic for his father, Dr. Ross Lawson, one summer during university. She has a BSc. in Biochemistry and has always had an interest in alternative healthcare.

Both David and Susan share a passion for natural health and for the kind of healing that takes place by truly caring about patients as whole people. Healing begins with a friendly voice answering the first phone call to the clinic and carries through to clinical treatment and lifestyle changes.

Susan feels privileged to have been able to stay home and raise 4 children who are now launched and making a difference in the world in their own areas of expertise.

She has always led an active lifestyle and continues to enjoy spending time engaging in the sports she loves. Susan is a nationally ranked “senior” tennis player and also enjoys running and cross country skiing. Live theatre and good independent film are other interests and as time and lifestyle allows she and David are enjoying the ability to travel more and experience a variety of people and cultures.
